I've a couple of the coolest odd colored quail eggs that were layed by my Texas A&M quail hens before they stopped laying.

This was laid by one of my EE, Merna, she always laid the weirdest eggs.  According to the date on the picture, it was in April, which would have made her about 10 months old at the time.  The whole time we had her, she laid maybe one normal egg.  The rest were always misshapen, covered in a weird extra outer membrane, and almost always so thin shelled that they broke if you just looked at them wrong!  We culled her last fall, and when we were processing her we discovered that her abdomen was full of nasty egg yolk, she was an internal layer (which we suspected, it was why we culled her because otherwise she was an awesome little hen).
