Chain link? - Page 2

We bought a 10 x 10 dog kennel but instead of putting it together like you're supposed to we put it against a wall to make it 10x 20. It's great!

How do you attach the hardware cloth to the chain link? Cable ties?

We started adding an "L" shaped run to the left side of our coop today. Next weekend we plan on putting a framed out wire roof over it and I want to skirt the outside with hardware cloth.

Cable/wire ties would work. The chickens won't br able to get them loose and the chainlink will keep larger critters out.

I'm not an expert,"ex" is a has been and a "spurt" is a drip under pressure!

We also purchased a 10x10 dog kennel, we purchased the cross bars for the top to add a tarp and it works wonderfully. We used heavy duty zip ties and attached tarps all the wY around this winter and the pen stayed dry and wind free. My girls went out every day and enjoyed there enclosure very well. We attached hard wire to it last summer with zip ties to keep anything out, worked wonders. But really I think it was good with out the hard wire. One thing you will want to do. Add a carbuncle or lock to the gate, I read where a dog jumped on the gate over and over and the latch opened up and the dog killed all there chickens.
This kennel is now moving on to my moms home so we can add a much larger run, with a roof. But the kennel, it was a god send! And the t top bars made adding a white tarp over the kennel perfect for winter use. The snow slid off well.
