Ok so I emailed Leggs farm as I thought they might be of some help identifying the color mutation and give me some incite on it. I have to say I kinda cracked up after reading the reply. Keep in mind they have seen the exact same photos I posted for u guys. Below in quotes is their full reply in its entirety.

Maybe just me but looks like a guess. Ok so it was nice of them to take a look at the photos and reply back but I'm no better off then where I started. I am saving all the eggs they lay and will incubate all of them to see if they breed true. Until I am told otherwise I'm going have to assume that this is a new color mutation. Someone posted a link on this thread to leggs farms quail page and if u click on their pics they will enlarge. They do have blonde but they r lacking the pattern of the ones I posted and don't have the rusty color spots on their backs and r lacking in depth of the gray color compared to my birds. I wont say it was a bad guess as they r similar but not at all the same. Any help solving this mystery would b greatly appreciated as I will still continue to look for an answer.
I really thought when I purchased these that they were something a little more rare then the wild type color but thought I would find loads of info on them when I got home. Just curious b4 I end up with a ton of these. If they do breed true, is anyone interested in these birds? Just curious if there would even b a market or if there is any point in propagating them besides the fact that I like them.
