I have a hen that has gone broody, and would love to add more colored eggs to the mix. I have an EE hen and a RIR/EE roo. If I hatched the EE's eggs, could I get chick that would produce colored eggs? In the past, I have used the same roo with different hens and have always gotten what looks like a White leghorn or a Delaware, normally with blue or bright yellow legs.
