Shelly couldn't sleep. She looked at her stolen watch. It said "9:30". 9:30?! Why was she going to bed at 9:30?! Perhaps the watch was broken. Either way, she didn't want to attempt to get to sleep in the musty old car anymore.
She got up, dusted off her tattered clothes, straightening the slightly less battered shorts, her pride and joy. She joined in the crowd of people on the sidewalk that the alley led off of, looking for rich people to pickpocket. She couldn't wait until she was 18 and could apply for a traineeship.
