What breed is this? Americuana?

I bought 8 chicks from a local poultry dealer: 3 Americuana, 2 Welsummer, 1 Black Star, 2 Red Star.  He threw in a 9th chick for free but didn't include it on my receipt so I'm not sure of the breed.  I think I've got it figured out who's who, except for this one.

She's about 6 weeks old now.  She is solid white, green legs, and has little muffs like an Americuana (but she's solid white!)  Any ideas on what she is?  Thanks in advance!

P.S.  It's hard to get a good pic of a fast moving chicken!!!

Well I looked up the differences here on BYC and of course it looks like you're right about my birds.  Which is ok with me.  It's not like I was planning on showing them.  We wanted chickens for pets and eggs.  Some of my best dogs have been mutts big_smile.png

Thanks for the info.  Chicken World is new to me!

She looks like an EE to me. Hatcheries label EE's as Americanas/Araucanas. The true spelling is Ameraucana. smile.png

The chicken that is my avatar is a mut. As you can see, she is a very pretty bird. She is our best layer (see? silkies can lay eggs!!) and has a great personality to boot. Mutts are often the best ones out there. Your hen is an EE.

Yep an EE (:

They are one of my favorites, they are friendly, fun, and lay greenish blue eggs:D

Momma to 1 month old Buff Orpington, 2 Barred Rocks, 1 Barred Rock/RIR cross, 1 Rhode Island Red, 1 incredible dog, 4 fish, 1 parakeet, 1 lamb, and also take care of another two lambs. (:

EEs are better than Ameraucanas and Araucanas in my opinion. The 2 purebreds only lay blue eggs. EEs lay blue, green, and even pink eggs! They're my favorite.

Very nicely-colored EE.  A white chicken that lays blue eggs!!! (or green or pink...)
