i thought silkies had blue/green eggs not pink

I have never seen a silkie lay blue/ green eggs. Easter eggers do, Americaunas lay blue... Silkies lay white/pink/light tan.

none of mine lay blue or green eggs.. I have one that lays white eggs.. the others lay tannish eggs.. and one silly girl lays little speckled eggs

it must be my mates silkie is a cross as his layed blue eggs before his dog bit her head off a few weeks ago

Yes, I think if the silkies father was an auricauna, Americaunas, or easter egger then that is entirely possible.

auricana is the highest possibility

No, my eggs are not from crossed silkie parents. I actually ordered them from a breeder ( You actually may have heard of her, the lady from Huckleberry Farm ), so the eggs should be genuine.
