Here are a couple of my broodies.  We can't tell most of our Buff Orps apart, so they all get called "Broody"

No, my eggs are not from crossed silkie parents. I actually ordered them from a breeder ( You actually may have heard of her, the lady from Huckleberry Farm ), so the eggs should be genuine.

I just hatched some BBS Ameraucanas from them..  Pretty babies. 

Wonderful family, very understanding husband when it comes to chickens, dogs, birds, one big Golden Retriever, and thankful to the Lord for all!

I have eggs coming in on wed/Thur and I can't set my own eggs til tomorrow.hit.gif  bad weather, that why I've been MIA! he.gif

Raising my multi-variety Brahma flock from scratch.  I have hatched out all but my 4 original lite hens.  I have 5 Buff Laced, 2 Gold Laced (and 5 eggs in the bater) 2 Silver Laced (1 egg in the bater), 3 Dark chicks, so sweet and 2 buffs. I've sold a few extras and the new owners just love them.

I have about 20 Mature Hens and Roosters Different Breeds (RIR's, EE's, OEGB, Buff Orp.'s)  and approximately 60 Chicks different ages and a large variety adding more constantly (Jersey Giants, Black Australorp, White leghorn, Buff Orps.'s RIR and mixed bred), Three Dogs One Pure Bread Doxie two mixed Breeds, 4 Ducks (2 white Peking, One Muscovy, One mixed breed)2 baby Mallard chicks , 2...

Here is my entry I have Silkie eggs, barnyard mix, and a turkey egg in here.  I am setting for my mom because she lost her flock due a raccoon or something over the past few weeks.  My bator is not really dirty as it looks that is rust onthe watering try.. As it is an old one  any suggestions as to how to safely remove that rust?
