normal peahen?

I swear today I saw green tint on the pea hens tail is this normal

I have a couple here like that they have some green blood in them.

Here is one of my hens that has a green tint to her tail, i also noticed that these hens have darker feathering on their breast are yours like that also?  116jaden11months82011.jpg

On a few shots I took of a peahen at my zoo, I saw something like an irridescent greenish-blue colour on her tail, don't know if that's what you saw, though.

P.S : She is the regular Indian Blue Peahen, so yes, this is only the feather under the sunlight that has this colour, I believe and, depending where the light's coming from too.

Then again, I don't know if that's what you meant. xD

People chasing peafowls and complaining about them attacking them or their kids should remember this :
