Guess they love us after all! Week took them outside for the first time since we got them and this was WAAAAAY cute!!

So, where did you get them. I love them. I saw a mallard male today at my stream.

A friend found them in a really busy town infront of his work, in the parking lot. He watched all day and there was no momma duck so I came and got them. 2 have left us, but these guys seem to be going strong! Eating and drinking very well, and clearly having a lot of fun, too! wee.gif

Loving mommy to 1 brown Newfoundland, 1 bulldog/spring spaniel mix, 1 white dove, 2 kitties, and 8 mixed breed chickens <3 Love them all and theres still room to grow!

Great pics. And I totally laughed at the dog pic. My pointer does the same thing lol he sits at the door and puts the sad face on when he cant go outside and "play" with the chicks and ducks. lol I dont trust him yet, he's getting better but I know he still wants to eat them.

Awesome!!  Love the doggy one.  And the boyfriend with his arms around them one.  

They are so cute!

One city boy husband that I'm converting to a poultry boy, 3 daughters, 3 Mallards, 2 dogs, one cat: and the bator's plugged in.  Hatching addict, BYC addict and you can find me in the forum "formerly known as hatch day is today" with my friends: Miss Lydia, Critterrun, StillMecle, GrannyCarol, JulieNKC, DuckGirl89, 70%Cocoa, Evelle and JazminesZoo.  I love my Gurlz!

Too adorable!  Good luck with your babies!  They are super cute!  :)

Hatched 13 chickens at school on 4/11.....assisted 1 duck to hatch on 4/15!   Chicks go to a ranch on 4/18.....the duckling?  He/She will be sticking around until I am comfortable letting him go.  He will be in a hobble for another week.  :)  I'm enjoying this whole process!

 

Oh yeah, expecting our first child 7/28!  :)  So, these feathered babies are getting me practiced up!
