A name doesn't have a proper spelling, its spelt however you want it to be spelled. "Aiden" is not the wrong way of spelling "Aidan" its a different way. Like NNN pointed out CBL, you often make spelling errors in your post and we don't point them out.

I just happen to have a character on an RP with the name "Aiden", and that is how I want it to be spelled.

If what CNN says is true...Then I must be a 'evil 4-Her'. If you are proud to be a 'evil 4-Her" Or ex4-Her put this in your siggy! I like knowing were my food is from, and how it is raised!

My 5yr old cousin's name is spelled Aiden. It's just a variation, like Catherine and Katherine, Lindsey, Lindsey, and Lyndsay, and I could go on. It's not necessarily wrong, it's just different. :-)

Yeah, like how everything in the US ends with "or{s}" and "ize{d}" but in the UK it's "our{s}" and "ise{d}". I personally use the UK spellings because "or{s}" and "ize{d}" are the Americanised spellings, not the original English.

Same with "color" and "colour" in Canada and the US

Australian is the same as the UK in spelling. Don't forget metre/meter!
