How long till the egg hatches? With some problems with incubator.

I put in 7 eggs due to hatch today and only 1 has pipping. I heard it first last night around 12 pm/am ish and I have heard it a little this morning. My main concern is I checked the temp and it was low 90's high 80s. The egg is a silkie egg. I followed the instructions of the incubator its a little giant. I have seen some moving, but it was alot more...energetic last night. Now its just slight movements, or thats what it seems anyways. Should I add more humidity? I did turn the temp up. I just don't want to lose the 1 chick that has seemed to pull through my very novice try at incubating. Any help and suggestions would be appreciated. It is day 21.  I just don't know weather to wait it out, or if I will need to help.  I am so nervous and so want it to hatch. I am just so worried about the temp drop

I wasn't able to get anything to check it. Will definatly be getting one for the next hatch. If you are familiar with the little giants the have little areas for the water. It just says to fill them up. So thats what I did. I am wondering if I don't need more. I have heard some pecking, but its not much and doesn't last long. I have heard more pips to, but its almost like it's getting tired, works for a bit then rests. I don't want to open it again as I already had to this morning to turn two eggs that are not due for a few more days. Should I maybe turn the egg a little? The part it seems to be pecking is towards the bottom of the incubator...

I would leave the incubator shut and just see what happens. Sometimes it take awhile for them to hatch. can take 24-36 hours from pip to hatch.

Good Luck!  fl.gif

In the future, i would have only one batch at a time in the incubator, that way they all hatch at once and you wont have a loss in temp and humidity.
