Chick With gash in side of face just after hatching!!!! HELP

I have a buff brahma bantam that is broody and has 2 chicks and one has a big wound on the side of its face!!! who did it the mother or another chicken in the flock are brahmas good mothers?! or should I give the chicks to my broody cochin?! please I need help ASAP!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 barred cochin, 1 white cochin, 1 mottled cochin,1 black cochin, 1 birchen cochin, 1 mille fleur cochin, 1 barred/partridge cochin roo (he is about to go to a new home) 1 buff brahma,(all my cochins and my brahma are bantams) 2 leghorns, 1 silver laced wyanndot, 2 rhode island reds, 4 cats, and 1 dog-bear and going to get a mystery bantam cochin

If the chickens are trampling the chicks you should set up a brooder in your house with a heat lamp, get them away from the full grown chickens. You may want to post pics to give us an idea of how big the gash is
