Performing nuns

I have long heard that Nuns were originally a performing breed, but had never seen any or talked to anyone who had them.  The Princess and I just returned from a trip to the Netherlands.  On a bus ride from Arnhem to the Floriade I saw a small kit of pigeons in the distance tumbling their little butts off.  Just as our bus stopped at a traffic light this kit landed at their loft only about 30' from the bus.  To my utter amazement they were black nuns - as typy as any of the showbred nuns that I once had, but they were performing.  Anyone have or know of anyone with performing nuns?

I don't know of anyone in the US who flies their nuns. We have turned a lot of flying breeds into show birds.
