Is this a Black Copper Maran?

This chick has some brown coming in around his/her neck. Is this a Black Copper Maran? S/he is almost 4 weeks old.

Yes, it has a single comb. Do you think it's a roo?

Looks more like a black sex link/black star, as it doesn't seem to have feathered legs. If it is a black sex link, it has to be a girl... but it does look kinda rooish.

I have five hens and two pullets- one seven year old red star, Luna, one white leghorn, Sage, one SLW, Pepper, one adorable fluffy EE, Bedazzle, and one black star, Buckbeak. My two pullets are Nutella, my wheaten marans, thirty five weeks, (who is yet to lay an egg!), and her best friend, Sammy, seventeen weeks.

Not all Black Copper Marans have feathered legs.  French BCM should have feathered legs, UK-type do not.

It is colored like a BCM, but I see yellow feet. I think it's a black sexlink. Pullet, either way.

He could be a pure FCM, or he could be a mix of the following:

 

The possible mother could be a Barred Rock, EE or Cuckoo Maran and the father a Wheaten Maran.

 

I had 16 eggs, 4 were out of a pure breed Black French Copper Maran. The rest were out of a pen that were mixed with the above hens and Wheaten Roo.
