Necks bent backward problem!

I have three little Banie chicks that I rescued from my sister who was going to kill them. They just hatched and have a hard time standing and their head and neck bend back over their back. When I try to help them hold head up right I can feel their heads rearing back against me. If I don't hold them they fall backwards and lay on the back. I have managed to get them to drink but not eat. Does anyone know what I need to do to pull their heads down into place?

Add some vitamins and electrolytes to their drinking water. Wry neck can be attributed to vitamin deficiency.

I live with my partner and our daughter in the foothills of NC. We LOVE our critters!

What kind of vitamins?

You can buy poultry vitamin packs at the co-op or tsc. Or you could give it some pol-vi-sol WITHOUT iron, which can usually be found in the baby section of the grocery store. If you mix some water and their crumbles in to a very wet paste, you can feed them with a dropper to get some food into them. Good luck, I hope your babies are feeling better soon!
