Did you buy your hardware cloth from AMAZON?

Hi, was looking to place an order from amazon (for the 36"x100' roll) and it says on their site that it could take 4-6 weeks for it to ship?

That is cuh-razy... anything I've ever bought on Amazon regardless of stated ship times has come lightening quick... so I'm just wondering if anyone bought from them and had it take forever to get there? I wanted it this week :/

That's what I get for doing everything last minute, I guess.

I had looked on Amazon. I was looking for 48" hardware cloth. THe shipping time were long and the shipping costs were high. I ended up buying mine locally for about the same as I could have gotten it online and didn't have to put up with the shipping wait times.

I bought mine from Ace Hardware and it was cheaper than Home Depot.

I found another 36"x100' roll on Amazon for just over 100 (like 7 bucks more than the one I was looking at), still has free shipping, but it'll come in 2 days... so I can go that route if I need to. But... after reading your post, Jakoda, I'll check my local hardware store first, just in case they are cheap. I already know that True Value and Ace are more than I want to pay.

Thanks everyone for the info!!

Definately, sometimes they can give you a little break on it, not sure if I'm getting a break cause I am getting 150 ft, I know he had to special order it..

I bought a 48" by 50' roll of hardware cloth from Wayfair for $69.99 plus shipping, which brought it to about $82.00.  (A 25-foot roll costs $58.00 at the local co-op.)  It should arrive tomorrow.

I just posted this on another thread about hardware cloth, but figured it might be helpful here:

If you live near an Agri-Supply, it's pretty reasonable there too 4' x 50' for $60, or 3' x 50' for $44 (so that'd only be $88 for 100').  They will ship, but they calculate weight x distance so you have to go through the carting process to figure out how much it's going to be. http://mower-blades.agrisupply.com/search#w=hardware%20cloth&asug=
