Buff Cornish Pea combs or straight combs

I got some Buff Cornish chicks that have single combs. Some have Pea combs. I thought they all had pea combs anyone know?

where did u get them?? if u got them from a hatchery it is possible that they can have single combs as they breed for production or meat only and not for the qualtity of the bird

It was a small hatchery. Are they mixed with something to get the single combs?

sometimes yes. Like farther down the lines, they added something to make the breed produce more meat or eggs. So sometimes a single comb will show up. I had a sebright with a single comb from a hatchery once. 

 

can u post pics of ur birds? it could be possible they are something else. or that they are just cornish with single combs
