Sex of my D'uccles?

can any one tell me gender or are they to young?? i think there about 3 weeks old

They're a little to young to tell, in a week or two they will make themselves very clear thumbsup.gif

They are not 3 weeks yet, maybe 1.5- 2 weeks old.

Here is my female mille fleur at 3 weeks old. smile.png

ohh ok thank u tongue.png. the breeder i got them from said they were 2 weeks when i got them and ive had them for about a week now. soo he was wrong on there age lol.

They are way too cute. I agree a little early on the sex, three more weeks should do it. thumbsup.gif

Thanks everyone!! ill post pics in two or 3 weeks big_smile.png this is the first time ive raised this breed and they seem so differnt than the ones im use to. im use to cochins and other standard breeds

You'll know in about a week which sex is which. They grow fast! Sometimes the females trick you into thinking they are male. Keep an eye on the feathering too, the males will have different feathering soon.

Muffin's spots were fully in by 8 months of age. Here she is at a year.(poor quality photos)

D'uccles can be sexed at 3.5 weeks of age. That baby isnt 3 weeks yet smile.png the spots will come in as they mature and with each molt will get more white so dont worry to much if they dont have that much white at a year old.
