A friend of mine has been trying to hatch out call ducks and at lockdown they kept dying, well this little guy she had helped out, She asked me if I wanted him because he was a lone and she knew I had some baby ducks already.  Needless to say my other two did not like him.  So I put him in my lockdown incubator, showed him the water and food, but he kept PEEPING, he would stop as soon as I talked, then PEEPED again and again. I thought for SURE I was going to have a horrible sleepless night, unitl I threw my 3 legged bean bag filled Bunny in with him.. HA HAHA , HE FINALLY STOPPED PEEPING!!!! that is enough to drive a person INSANE...  But now I need a name, I'm up for ANY SUGGESTIONs...

Sounds like normal behavior. Beanie baby was a good idea!

Peeper!  My singleton, Lucky, has a stuffed horse!

Hatched 13 chickens at school on 4/11.....assisted 1 duck to hatch on 4/15!   Chicks go to a ranch on 4/18.....the duckling?  He/She will be sticking around until I am comfortable letting him go.  He will be in a hobble for another week.  :)  I'm enjoying this whole process!

Oh yeah, expecting our first child 7/28!  :)  So, these feathered babies are getting me practiced up!
