Experience with propane brooders?

I'm wondering if anyone out there has experience with propane brooders for small scale meat bird production (50-200 chicks at a time).  I'd like to know what kind of fuel consumption I can expect and if there are some more efficient than others.  Electricity is not really an option in my situation.  Any info would be apprectiated as I will probably be building a dedicated brooder house here in the near future.

345 to 3,450 BTUhr  http://www.gasolecamerica.com/album6_005.htm

225 BTUHR and up  http://www.sbm-international.net/elevage/product-line

These are industrial agriculture products. For smaller scale poultry the pig rearing sizes would be more suitable.

The gasolecamerica looks to be the ticket.  Have you ever used one of these for chick brooding?  Do they have a thermostat? I'll be giving them a call later today, thanks.
