Alright, on to my actual question...
Like most others here I am trying to communicate with some sellers. I didn't notice the message limit until I had sent and then re-sent a message (thinking that I had not pushed submit). Will the system send my messages once enough time has passed? Also, does this restrict my ability to receive messages from them as well? Do I have replies from them waiting in a queue that will become available once enough time has passed?
I did read the how to be a good BYC citizen and while the document did encourage participation I don't recall information on this specific issue (message limits). Is there information somewhere here or should I continue to post questions here to up my numbers?
Thanks for the feedback! We're always looking for ways to improve the site and ease-of-use.
Regarding your specific questions:
Will the system send my messages once enough time has passed? - No, the messages are unfortunately not queued up and sent later. You would need to send the PMs the next day.
Also, does this restrict my ability to receive messages from them as well? - No, this restriction is only on new members ability to send. This helps to reduce the potential damage spammers can do when they join the site.
Do I have replies from them waiting in a queue that will become available once enough time has passed? - No, you will be able to receive unlimited PMs from senders.
