Kennel for run? - Page 2

We are in the process of adding on to our coop with a dog kennel. We are building a wood frame around it and will attach chicken wire to the top, and the cover the bottom 3 feet with hardware cloth. We were hoping to get it finished this weekend but it doesn't look like the weather will be cooperating.

We are framing out the front part and sectioning it off from the left side. This way I have an area to put my teens before they are big enough to go in with the general population. There is going to be a door that I can open once they can be integrated.

Chicken math has gotten the best of me, so I had to enlarge my run. I have 29 chickens in the original run, 13 four week olds in the brooder still and this weekend I'm setting a dozen eggs.
