What are your talents?

You know what they say about everyone being good at something.
Let's hear some interesting ones! pop.gif Anyone make sculptures out of food, or something awesome and wacky like that?

Me, I suppose I can determine the wind direction from the weather conditions in certain places, but that can hardly be counted as a real talent.
My chickens: Silva, Peach, Trotsky, and one fat Chirpy which is slow-moving, unfit, doesn't lay eggs and contributes nothing to the activities in the garden. Chirpy presides over the diligent workers and steals the food they get in return for laying eggs. One fears humans may have a large imbalance to fight in the ways of the natural world... Hehehe.

I'm good at aggressive dog/cat wrestling. When we have a naughty, biting dog or cat at work that no one wants to deal with, they usually call me over. Don't know why, but I enjoy the challenge. hu.gif

Y'know, girl, I'm beginning to think you and I might be related!th.gif

I am really good at untangling knotted up string and yarn. When I was a kid, my brother would bring home kite strings and fishing lines for me to untangle.

Good to hear these, guys. So I'm not the only one who sees the small things as possible talents.... tongue.png

I am good at scrapbooking, and also insect collecting.  I Iike to combine the two - see pic below, with shadow boxes my DH made:

It was a joint effort :)

We have a dozen different breeds of chickens and we love them all!

Those shadow boxes are gorgeous!

My talents - I am a great chef, I can sing, and I am very good at making people laugh.

I wish playing instruments came as naturally as those things - I really have to work hard & practice all the time to get anywhere playing music.  I love it enough it is worth it.

I have 2 wonderful sons, 3 ducks (2 Anconas & 1 Buff), 4 laying hens, a Holland Lop bunny, and a big scaredy cat.  I am a Chef, Baker, Bluegrass "Musician" (I know, you can't do both) and artisan.

kitchengirl - I suppose it's all the more rewarding when you've been practising hard, and it all pays off! big_smile.png
