Uploading Photos isn't Working?

Whenever I try to upload photos to an album, it doesn't work. I go to my profile, then I scroll down and click 'upload photos' (or a different way that ends up on the same page). When I click upload photos I come to a page that looks fine, except just below "select photos to upload:" there is a thing that says "loading". I tried yesterday, and it was still loading after 10 minutes. Today I tried leaving it for an hour, but it was still loading. What should I do about it?

How large are the pictures? What browser are you using?

I hadn't selected any pictures yet.  I'm assuming it was loading the bit where you select the pictures to upload.The sizes of pictures on my computer vary greatly.

My browser is Firefox.
