I got my front sight base;

I ordered a Bushmaster teardrop forward assist, and some cheap front sight posts. I'll replace the FSP later, with a Trijicon Tritium, but I want to get this gun ready to shoot. cool.png

The cheapie FSP arrived today, and I'll use it until I can get the tritium FSP;

Assembly complete! I still need to do a little painting (on the logo), but I finished the assembly several hours ago. It may get fired for the first time very soon.

What kind of buffer tube is that? I've not seen one like it before.

I use these on all of my iron sight ARs. They've proven to be very accurate.

It's part of the Palmetto State Armory pistol LPK;

After that, I put a CAA Stock Saddle on it (there's a pic on a previous page). The saddle is made to go over a skeleton stock on an M4, but I wrapped the buffer tube with nylon webbing and then zip-tied the saddle over it. I like the looks of it, and it'll give a more consistent cheek weld.

I just fired it for the first time, and it was great. The chickens had followed me into the driveway, but when I started shooting they decided to walk down to the other end of the house.

I finally finished painting the rest of it;

Since I was already going, I painted my Bushmaster too;

Did they walk to the end of the house or run? lol.png

Thanks. cool.png

The chickens didn't run, but they kind of double-timed it half way across there. big_smile.png
