oh ok thanks. He's beautiful just always been a mystery to me. I know my other two are. He is also bigger than my other two silkies.
Can anyone determine what kind of Silkie this is?

Are Red Silkies supposed to be taller and have fuller tails than other Silkies?

I think he might be a Yangtze Silkie he has similar features big comb big wattles and light skin.

yes hdowden is right it is more of a red i really don't think it is full blooded but it may be but it might be a partridge i dont really know what to tell u
Two roosters and one hen which are from the same batch of buff silkies from ideal hatchery.
You've just got some silkies which weren't bred to the standard of perfection, could be a mix, but likly just random breeding.

I have a silkie hen like this. My friend told me she could be a black tailed buff is that possible or even show able??
