Well I have expanded my mini farm.

Well started off with one white cat that my 17 year old male cat raised.  My beloved Simba passed right before we closed on our house.  Well my white cat Snow loves it here and so we deceided to adopt from the pound in Simba,s honor a siberian/German shepard mix, well then we got a black pug purebred young dog.  Well then I deceided I wanted pets that when you feed it, it feeds you too.  So I got a black astrolorp, a rhode island red, an americauna and a golden sex link.  I also have 2 peking ducks.  Well today I found a place that breeds pure-breeds that are not as common, so I got two lavender orpingtons, a splash langshon and a blue langshon, and a light sussex.  Oh my goodness these are the cutest cuddliest chicks ever.  They are 2 days old the sussex is 1 days old and they love to cuddle up to you and snuggle to go to sleep.  They love being petted too.  Who ever knew that chickens could be so cute and awesome pets!  I use to think the only good chicken was one on your plate.  I don't think like that anymore.  They are my babies.  And they won't chew my shoes either.thumbsup.gif

Love you forever my sweet Simba

blue and splash.pngThanks everyone for the welcome, I am really have fun learning about the new breeds and old breeds and the difference with them all.  They really all have different attitudes and buying from a breeder than a chick hatchery makes a lot of difference.    Here are some of the parent splash and blue langshan.  Aren't the beauties?
