I have seen both. Is it ok to use lasalocid? The food I just bought has this in it. The concentration of Amprolium in chicken food says .0125% while the lasalocid says 113 g/ton. Is that comparable? I am feeding regular chicks, some large fowl, some bantam. Can anyone tell me the difference? I guess the lasalocid is what they give turkeys and chukars. Is this safe for me to use for chicks? Thanks for any info that anyone can offer.

113 g is .25 pounds, so is 0.0125% of a ton. The percentage is the same.

My regular starter has amprol, but the 30% game starter has the other. No one ever got sick when the chicks would steal from the poults.
