5-toe frizzle feather-legged baby

I picked up an adorable little white bantam from an assorted bantams bin at Tractor Supply. S/he has feathered legs, 5 toes, and now that the feathers are coming in, they're frizzled! Any idea what breed I might have? I'm so excited to have a cute little frizzle baby!

Frizzle baby!

it really doesnt look frizzled can you got some good shots of just the feathers...i think its a cochin with the wrong # of toes...i doubt its a sultan it lacks a crest and a beard to be a sultan

sizzle?

The difference between pets and pests is only on which side of the fence they're standing... keep your animals in your own property.

I have a bantam rooster with the same genetic toe thing. I know he had no silkie gene but always wondered about it til I read of other bantams that carry that gene. I can't remember exactly what the breed was I read about. Could be sizzle but the hatchery tsc deals with don't do sizzles. I do & seems to me the skin would be darker.

Frizzle for sure. The frizzling comes at all different rates. Some will be super frizzled and others you'll barely see the frizzling. Even if they come out smooth feathered, they still have the frizzle gene. Only 40% will show frizzling of the entire hatch, but all carry the gene.

The day I brought her home at 5 weeks.

Turned into this

If I breed her, all her chicks will have the frizzle gene no matter how frizzled their feathers come out.

Any breed can carry the Frizzle gene. It looks like a sizzle(silkie frizzle mix) maybe with a white Cochin.
