New to BYC and from New Hampshire

Hello all,

Okay, so I started out with Six 1 week old chicks a month ago, unknown breed and sex. Than a friend gave me Four 1 year old Easter Eggers. To make a long story short I now have Eight 6 month old Rhode Island Reds, Eight 7 month old Bantum Cochin.  We had Ten but 2 turned out to be Roosters... a friend of my son's put them in his yard on tick patrol!

I am setting 15 Bantum eggs in the Incubator in the morning, a friend of mine wants the chicks, when they are hatched. I just want to hatch some in the new bator my sister gave me tonight.

I live in New Hamshire . We have 10 Labradors. I raise, breed and train Retrievers for Therapy and service work. We also send a lot of pups out as feet warmers and couch potatos!

I am married , and my husband and kids love the Chickens as much as I do. My husband and I have even put our chairs in the run and have coffee with "girls" in the evening.

We have 4 children ages 14 to 25 and a wonderful grandaughter who is 5 and just loves the Chickens and of course the dogs and pups.

I am very excited to be part BYC

hello Wendi and welcome-byc.gif
Sounds like that "chicken math" is setting in already, you've got a great-sounding flock there!
Don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have, and enjoy the site. big_smile.png
