welcome-byc.gifHello i live in Molino FL next to Pensacola FL it is very windy tonight around 10 MPH and a light rain is due and the low will be 54 degrees my coop is not finished i need to put some shutters up for 2 windows and my 10 RIR are only about 3 moths old and i was wondering if i need to put a heat light in tonight or just put something over the windows TO STOP THE WIND PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP  THANK U ALL FOR BEING HERE IN ADVANCE DAMIAN H

Just make sure they can be dry and they'll be fine.

Hi! I live in Pace.FL. My chicks, now almost 8 weeks have been fine outside in their coop. I kept the warming lamp out there for them until they quit using it. When they all started sleeping far away from it I took it to mean they didn't need it anymore. I still keep it handy just in case I think they need it. These are my first chickens also.
