Mr. Malir was in the workshop with Caden. "Sylvia? What's wrong?" Malir called, poking his head out the door.

 

 

"You don't know our family." Shane said bitterly. "We must begin training as soon as we can walk. We are pushed to the limit with pain and suffering."
