She made a small trot around the ring, and the person at the mic begun to softly speak about Raven's performance, yet the judges nor Raven could hear.
"Now, I know Raven has been in several shows before, but this horse is fenominal! Stylish presentation, the mane, the tail, the dress, her hair, it's the full package."
Raven tightened her trot and pulled into the center of the ring.
"I can only wonder what the judges are thinking."
She pulled the reins to the left, and Zephyr begun to turn left over and over, in a circle called a left-turn-around.
"And Raven seems very relaxed for her first time here."
Raven pulled the reins right, and Zephyr turned in a right-turn-around.
The crowd clapped again.
"Let's see if she can pull this off."
"Come on Zephyr, you know what to do." She cooed softly, giving him a soft nudge in the side. Zephyr worked his way around the ring, coming in tighter and tighter circles, then ending in a turnaround.
"I thought I could see a slight lurch at the beginning of her horses reining, but that performance was gorgeous! Ladies and gentlemen, Raven Montgomery!"
Raven slid off Zephyr and gave a gentle tug to his reins, leading him away. She returned to the barn, and someone took Zephyr from Raven, telling her he would put her away. Raven smiled and walked off, heading to the tack room. Once she was gone, the wolf turned to look at Shane. He gave an evil grin, then headed into the barn.
It was Austin.
