Freeze-dried bloodworms?

I tried searching, but couldn't find an answer. Sorry if it's been asked before!

Can you feed freeze dried bloodworms to your birds? Chicks, specifically. I have a container on hand for our fish, just wondering if the chicks my enjoy some as well. They're about 1.5 weeks old and have been scratching around in their shavings a ton lately. If not bloodworms, what else might make a fun treat they can dig around for?

Chicken Math strikes again...  11 hens, 1 rooster, 3 pullets, 17 chicks, and more in the 'bator.

Fur-mama to Dodger, Oliver, and Cici. Foster dog-mama to many!

Bloodworms would be OK, so would any small amounts of vegetables, chopped fine. Pretty much anything you would eat would be OK for chicks. Maybe stay away from highly salty foods. Be sure they have access to chick grit if giving them treats.
