An animal must of gotten in underneath. There were marks going in and feathers everywhere. The only thing left of my black sex link is a clump of feathers. :( I had two golden sex links as well and one is no where to be seen. While the other is still intact with only a bite to the neck. It just killed her but didn't eat her. Such a shame! :(

Sounds like you will want to reinforce the bottom of your pen with wire before getting any more birds.

I dug mine 18". Most of the time its the cickens digging at the edges. Little do they know they are making it eaiser for ever critter that wants to get it..... I put in some rip rap rock near the edges that helped also.
