Problem with Hova Bator 1588

Thread Starter

Purchased the 1588 after reading the positive reviews on here of

those who use them.

Have had several good hatches using it but this last hatch condensation

INSIDE OF THE SUPPOSEDLY SEALED 'CONTROL CENTER' UNIT

began and is now so bad that it has totally obscured the readings of

temp and humidity.

I'm also afraid it will short the incubator out.  Anyone else had this

problem with this model and if so - what did you do to correct it?

I've sent an e-mail to the manufacturer, GQF, about the problem but have not heard back from them.

Thanks,

Elaine

There is another thread on this issue, somewhere. I have one of those new units, too. I haven't seen any problems with condensation, but then again, I dry incubate and I don't use this one as a hatcher. I'm interested in knowing how this problem is resolved.

Sorry you are having problems. As far as GQF getting back to your email, it's not likely. There customer service is about the worst in the industry. You buy one of their units and you are on your own!
