Thanks so much for letting me know. We do own a house in wv, but we already switched our licenses over to va. I wonder if I could use a checkbook as proof of wv residence wink.png

I have 4 chickens, I mean 12, OK fine - 20 wait 35 +/- depending on the season. Working toward a smallish coronation orpington with my small flock.

I also have Cayuga ducks

I hope to bring 2 buff Brahma pullets, a true Araucana splash cockerel, possibly a pair of special needs LF Salmon Faverolles (if anyone is interested, PM me), and some mixed Silkies.

Hi,
I was on the phone the the WV AG dept ( and various field offices). And the guy that will be at the Gower's chickenstock told me...
Birds less than 6 months old from an NPIP flock may come and be cleared by parentage, no adult chickens from out of state may come if they are not npip certified.
(conversation not verbatim )
So, I don't think I will be selling unless Virginia magically gets paperwork done in the next week. I will be there looking, though, I really want another rooster wink.png

Just thought I would post that for other newbie types like me.

We have been posting flyers all over for the Gower's Chickenstock. If anyone could post some at points east and south of the Ranson/Charlestown area , we'd appreciate it. The more advertising we get out there, the more people will show up and make it a great swap. Hope to see you all there!

We have several colors of Guinea hatching this week, along with Button and Coturnix Quail in several colors. Peachicks and Royal Palm turkeys should hatch next week, along with a bunch of Serama, BLRW, RIR, BO, Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucana and Olive Eggers.

Messages and emails this week from people who are bringing watering and feeding equipment, bird houses, incubator, ducks, Flemish Giant bunnies, Lops, Crested Polish, started Light Brahma and Buff Brahma chicks, horse tack... plus much, much more!

See you all there!  frow.gif
