Hello everyone :) after months of stalking the forums here I am so pleased to say I am a proud chicken mama!!

Hubs and I live in Michigan and are in the process of self-sufficiency on 23 acres of family land. When I am not surfing the interwebz, I can usually be found cooking up a storm, knitting like a mad woman, or playing outside with my 2 gorgeous staffy and his 1/2 staffy 1/2 boxer pup. ( well not pup no more he is 7)

I look forward to getting to know everyone in what seems a wonderful community! :)
