A Dog For Me And My Flock - Page 7

Before my pup matured I got into habit of walking place twice nightly to check livetraps. Also, whenever birds got riled, so would I before going out to check on things. The getting riled seems contagious.  Pup quickly got to point where he would run circuit alone.

Sky is 15 weeks today. Nearly four months old already. She still has not shown any aggression towards the birds. Every time I feed the birds a treat she shares it with them. I think she eats it whether she likes it or not. The only time she disturbs the birds is when she's running around in the yard. She'll veer into them to watch then scatter. She does not chase and does not bite at them. She has heard the command NO BITE! and NO CHASE! and understands them. That command has only had to be called because she likes to chase the cats...Not the chickens. So Far, So Good.
