Newbie from Portland Oregon (Clackamas)

Thread Starter

Hello all.  Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all of the VERY usefull info on here.  It was because of this site and so many other memebers posts and pictures that my wife and I decided to try our hand at having our own backyard chickens.

If anyone is from the Portland area and has any advice (or anywhere for that matter) I am all ears.  We have 2 bantam hens.  One is now laying and the other should any time now.

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?
