can pekin ducks fly/!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

If you carried my pekin correctly and jogged a little he would flap his wings like he was flying but you better make sure you are out of the way of those bad boys cuz getting smacked with them is painful!!! (esp in the face!)
 
Actually my 3 month old Pekin can fly pretty well. Here are some pictures to prove it.

I've heard pekings can get of the ground a little. I need some help i got two female pekings and when i let them out in the morning they fly at least fifty feet to the other side of the lake. could they be duclair ducks instead of pekings????!!!
