Help please! Trying to figure out how old two of my girls are. The first one is the RIR and the second is supposed to be an EE, but I'm not completely sure of that either. Any insight would help. Thank you!

Id Be only guessing but I would estimate three weeks .. Your RIR is getting lots of color around its neck might be a Roo but again guessing .. Your Bottom one Very well could be an EE looks like one to me.. But there are so many breeds . But I have had very similar looking and I do have RIR and EE's and remember them looking very similar and about that size approx three weeks ~ Corinne

I have about 20 Mature Hens and Roosters Different Breeds (RIR's, EE's, OEGB, Buff Orp.'s) and approximately 60 Chicks different ages and a large variety adding more constantly (Jersey Giants, Black Australorp, White leghorn, Buff Orps.'s RIR and mixed bred), Three Dogs One Pure Bread Doxie two mixed Breeds, 4 Ducks (2 white Peking, One Muscovy, One mixed breed)2 baby Mallard chicks , 2...

Thank you all for the welcomes and the help. Must say, we were looking forward to having all girls, but if Bernadette turns out to be Bernie, can't wait to listen for him to wake us each morning...lol Have also heard that you can tell by whether the feathers are pointed or rounded at the ends; think I will have to wait for them to grow a bit more though for that.
