So what type would be pure homers and how would you go about keeping them at your location?

Do a little dance, give a few hugs, love me lots, hate me not.

Wondering which breeds would be best in faithfully coming home and what is the best process in getting them conditioned to "homing" to desired location?

good racing homers, raise the young and they will home to where they are hatched.   them you can take them on longer trips from home, up to 500 miles or more.

buy homer from someone who race them...train the young birds after they are flying around home , take them a few miles from home and release them, then longer each trip

Mine started at 6 months old. so maybe not to long for you to wate.

I take in any unwanted animals and for that people say i'm crazy. My answer to why I do it is always the same. Why not? What could make me not want to? I save a life every time I take an animal in. So what if i've got alot of animals?!?! They are all well taken care of and 3 out of 5 I find a forever home for the other 2 stay with me.
