Mixed EE breed. Roo or Hen? (pic heavy)

In honor of our EE mixed 5 week birthday I thought I might get some input on rooster or hen?  There are 4 that I think are roosters but am not sure of :

Skunkback:

Nakedbutt:

Eaglehead:

Twin:

Three together, it is easier to see nakedbutts comb:

And one more:

Thanks for looking!

side shots would help along with a good comb shot

silkies and (projects), sumatras, lakenvelders, frizzles, polish and (projects), sultans, buff orps, black sexlinks, turkeys, red golden pheasents, Peepers, dogs, cats, fish, horses, wild kids, and one very understanding DH, come on over for a visit to the crazy farm

I see one female, the first one. The rest look like roos to me.

Lost everything in a barn fire 2/11/13. Can't even pull it together.

Thank you for all the condolences and all the support and donations given to help us rebuild. You are all so special to us.

Hi Tracy. This is only a guess but...

Skunkback looks like a Silkie/EE Hen

Nakedbutt a RIR mix - can't tell hen or roo (can you get a better comb pic?)

Eaglehead looks like a roo

Twin looks like a hen

I LOVE THE SILKIE MIX in some of them! Makes their butts look extra fluffy :)

DH, 2 wonderful kids, too many chickens to count, chicks inside, chicks outside and chicks all around! Everything from chickens to turkeys to ducks, bulldogs, shih tzus, bunnies, hammies, fish and kitties.  frow.gif  Luv'n every minute of it love.gif

When I was a new poster I loved the "what am I" cockrel or pullet posts, but was dissapointed when we didn't find out how it turned out.

SO here is my update:

Skunkback is the head rooster at our place! He is a beautiful Silkie/EE mix.

700

Nakedbutt, Eaglehead and Twin are all roosters too!  They are RIR and EE mix and all three look alike.

You never know!

Nice to hear an update! Wow they grow a lot in such a short time!

I have some that are maybe a week or two younger than yours and they are just about ready to lay. big_smile.png
