best hatchery for salmon faverolles?

According to the standards of the Poultry Club of Great Britain, British Faverolles cocks weigh 4.08–4.98 kg (9–11 lb), cockerels 3.4–4.53 kg (7.5–10.0 lb), hens 3.4–4.3 kg (7.5–9.5 lb) and pullets 3.17–4.08 kg (7–9 lb); bantam cocks weigh 1130–1360 g and hens 907-1133 g.[7][8] The Australian and United States standards call for a slightly smaller bird, but still a relatively large chicken. The Australian standard specifies that cocks weight from eight to ten pounds, hens six and a half to eight and a half pounds.[9] The American Poultry Association standard is eight pounds for cocks, six pounds for hens.[1

They are a french breed breed for excellent breast meat, so they should have a very pronounced breast, eggs were seconday do medium to large is acceptable.

In the US we breed to characteristics not purpose, so many of our heritage breeds now are not good layers and lay medium to small eggs (Sicilian Buttercups are a good example of that ) . Several years ago the president of the Leghorn association wrote a very interesting paper on this topic.

How long does it take their tail feathers to grow in? Seems like my faverolle is taking a really long time growing a tail.

okay my salmon faverolles are soooo freaking cute! They are taking forever on their rear feathers but they are so hilarious. They get frightened and they run in a circle not knowing where to go and then they choose and bolt. I absolutely love them. I bought 2 from Mc Murray and 2 from My Pet Chicken. These are my good chicks from MPC that have no issues.

I call them the twins. My other 2 from MPC are still too little to call them anything they are in a brooder.

After 1+ year I return to post. Bought chicks Salmon Faverolles from My Pet Chicken and from Cackle. Winner is ...Cackle.
I got rid of all the hens from MPC because, even if the salmon color was better, the hens from Cackle were of better shape, bigger and fluffier.
But also I got rid of many of those. ..I hatched many chicks and kept always the best ones.
In the end I sold in Craigslist some beautiful hens.
I suggest to buy many of them (you can always sell some), because always will arrive the pullet looking like a cockerel, or some copper color and many with black beards.
They are really sweet and they do keep laying in winter.
