Are Honey Locust leaves okay for the chickens and ducks to eat?

Here is Texas their isn't much green growing around where I live and our Honey Locust tree has tons of bright green leaves that are soft and tender. We do not have any grass, it all dryed up and turned yellow and brown so I really need to find something green for them to eat. Are these leaves safe?

Black locust is toxic, but I'm not sure about honey locust. Maybe try lowering a branch and see if the hens are attracted to it.
