Lovely chicks! What did their coloring look like as baby chicks? I'm just curious as I have 2 that are about 2 weeks old. Curious about what they will look like! Just love the blue! Both are very pretty!

Well, agree not an EE, so you will not need to eat your hat!☺Anyone want to take a go at this kid? Top pic is at 3 weeks. Hatched from an egg marked "Easter Egger" but if that's an EE, I'll eat my hat.
Looks nothing like my other/previous EE babies. Has a giant SPIKEY comb started. Not a pea comb.
I am also a total novice so I could easily be wrong.
What do y'all think?

Looks to be a cockerel with a comb (single or straight type) that size this young. Looks mostly like an australorp. Where did you get the egg?
So intense color of eggs or intense color of chickens? What color was the egg?My Pet Chicken in the "intense colors" egg assortment.
Aha! A thing I know. Bluish like the Ameraucana egg (didn't hatch.)So intense color of eggs or intense color of chickens? What color was the egg?
Probably one of their hybrids then, ameraucana also have peacombs, EE are closely related to them.Aha! A thing I know. Bluish like the Ameraucana egg (didn't hatch.)
