Hurt chick

Hey everyone I have a huge concern for one of my chicks. My dog is very good with the chicks but the other day she got excited and sprinted across the yard and my little 7 week old chick ran under her right at the wrong time and somehow she hit her beak and the bottom part shifted way out. So her mouth doesn't shut anymore and it looks bad but there's no blood and she's been eating and drinking. Someone told me shed heal with time but I don't really see how..its pretty bad. Any advice?

Poor baby I have no advice for u I'm new to chicks but can say when my parakeets has beek repped away (rat v bird fight) the vet had me put him down but that was 20+ years ago and not a chicken. Hope all turns out well for her

My city farm:

4 Chickens 1 Buff Orpington Cheerio Rose, 2 Exchequer Leg Horn Lilly & Phoenix and 1 Amber star mix Little Bit.

3 rats Summer, Winter and Spring

3 Dogs: Lab Honey bear, Samoyed Duke, Pit mix Candii

3 cats: Snickers, Kit Kat, Zelda

1 desert turtle Harry

And a whole lot of fish in the fish tank
