SHE IS DRIVING ME NUTS - Page 2

I weigh and date every egg, I don't chart them, I just write it in pencil on the egg itself. Although I have been weighing my new chicks and charting their growth. It amazes me at just how fast they are growing.

Hi my name is Niki I have 1 awesome Hubby, 2 great boys, 1 brown Beagle, 1 Jack Russell Mix and 5 Speckled Sussex, 2 Welsummers

I use a scale that I bought at Sportsmans Warehouse that I use for weighing gun powder since I reload my shells.  It was about $20 and it measures in ounces, grams, karats and grains.  You can tare it too so you can put the eggs in a cup or bowl and still get an accurate weight.  So far mine have all been PeeWee with the largest weighing in at 1.434 ounces.  Only 2 of my 4 are laying and they have only been laying for one week now.

Sounds good---especially since she has mellowed out.  I would say appreciate what she is producing---and keep a good eye on her to always maintain her health.
